After interviewing residents of the Haiwan community, an urban village in Shekou, Shenzhen, and conducting further research, we focused on household labour and portrayed a slice of local people's lives. We created Crease, a picture book for children, especially students at the local school, Haiwan Elementary. Through it, we hope to convey to the community the idea that housework is a formal and valuable labour. Readers can put together any two pages of the picture book, as the daily lives of houseworkers are an arrangement of similar chores. The outside of the page is the story from the child's point of view, while the inside shows the mother's schedule for an actual day - from morning to night, moment to moment. The picture book is intended to make readers more aware of the labor involved in housework and the value of that labor in their lives.

List of the Assassinated
Author
List of the Assassinated is a reimagination inspired by Hugo's Les Miserables, aiming to delve into themes of race and gender that Hugo left unexplored. Within the narrative, the "Friends of ABC," a cohort of youth advocating for social change, are transplanted into the backdrop of 1960s Chicago, USA, where they grapple with racial inequality. Additionally, I introduced a cadre of unique female characters who navigate the complexities of abortion rights within the historical framework of the era, banding together to speak for themselves.
Luna and Lalage
Writer, editor, layout design, and cover design
"Luna and Lalage" is a novel that draws from my personal encounters in a psychiatric hospital. I reshaped the young individuals I encountered there into characters within the narrative. Through this novel, I delve into the societal stigma surrounding mental health conditions, offering a broader perspective, while weaving a tale of peer support and the journey of growing up.
